New Moon, Feeling Waters. The Ocean Inside & Out

Oceanic in nature, the inner lives of women are vast, deep, filled with mystery, rich, and ancient. This moon cycle we center on the ebb and flow of our emotional lives, the ebb and flow of our thoughts and physical states. When we begin to embrace and flow with these rhythms, we are led ever and ever closer to inner wisdom.
We’ll find inspiration in the feminine, watery, emotional, and intuitive, moon-ruled astrological sign of Cancer; we will make space to listen, feel & sense the ocean inside and out. We will strengthen the heart-center and solar plexus energies with a beautiful aromatic blend; nourish our heart fires with an herbal tea; create expressive verse; play with blues; experience guided meditation; work with energy; and more!
We will learn use kyanite to protect and balance energies. Everyone will leave with one!
The sacred gathering of women is ancient, and this space is where we remember and reclaim our instinctive, innate power to heal, manifest, create, and birth peace within and in this natural world. Where two or more women form a circle, magic emerges.
Bring journal/pen, tea mug, yoga mat, blanket, pillow -- and dress comfortably!
Our circle welcomes women of all spiritual centerings and world views and is led by Tanja Krupa, Holy Fire Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher, Ama-Deus® practitioner, Wild Woman Project Circle Leader, Certified Reflexologist, Certified Aromatherapist, herbalist, and writer.
This circle is part of an international network of circles via The Wild Woman Project (www.thewildwomanproject.com)
2-2.5 hours. $25/wild woman.

New HIIT, Kids Fitness, Personal Training

Join Nancy for a challenging, rewarding workout & bring your kids on Saturday! Nancy is a U of M grad and former Michigan MRUN distance runner. She is a personal trainer, class fitness instructor, marathoner, and mom. During her classes Nancy intertwines the philosophy of high intensity interval training with endurance training, to bring a level of fitness that not only sheds body fat, but tones muscle, and improves cardiovascular ability. Her training alternates between periods of aerobic and anaerobic exercise, while introducing full body strength work and utilizing multiple muscle groups, to provide optimum results. High Intensity Interval Training at its core introduces periods of intense anaerobic activity, followed by periods of aerobic recovery, in order to shed body fat, tone lean muscle, and improve athletic ability and cardiovascular health. The benefits of HIIT training not only exist in physical appearance and athletic ability, but also in injury prevention. Our bodies are smarter than us, and know what they need. As a marathoner, it is impossible to strictly run for long aerobic time periods, using the same muscle groups repetivily, and expect to stay healthy and be successful. The human body does not work that way. Periods of both aerobic and anaerobic work are required to build the cardiovascular system, as well as the use of a dynamic set of muscle groups to make the body strong as a whole. The muscular system needs to maintain both strenght and flexibility in order to function properly, and the beauty of these exercises encourage bikram yoga to keep all systems of the body healthy and promote flexibility.  Classes: HIIT: Wednesday @ 4pm, Friday @ 2pm,Saturday @ 2:30pm, KIDS FITNESS, Saturday @ 1:30-2:15pmSign Up Here: https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/classic/ws?studioid=38677&stype=41&sTG=2&prodId=10154
